Shepherd Express LGBT Progress Awards

Shepherd Express is pleased to announce our second annual LGBT Progress Awards presented by Cream City Foundation, accompanied by a first annual awards event on August 11, 2016 at The Wherehouse from 5:30-8pm. A cocktail and networking hour will be followed by a sit-down dinner, catered by Ball n' Biscuit, and the presentation of awards, leading into our Keynote speaker, Peter Holbrook, President and CEO of Cream City Foundation.

Shepherd Express formed a committee of leaders from the LGBT community to help choose the winners of these seven categories:

o    LGBT Progress in Activism Sponsored by Milwaukee Gay Sports Network

o    LGBT Progress in Health and HIV Awareness Sponsored by ARCW

o    LGBT Progress in Philanthrophy Sponsored by Cream City Foundation

o    LGBT Progress in Arts and Culture Sponsored by CCF/Will Radler Fund

o    LGBT Progress in Equality ( Organization)

o    LGBT Progress in Business Development

o    LGBT Struggle for Equality

Shepherd Express and Cream City Foundation have partnered together to create a successful first year event with proceeds benefiting Cream City Foundation. Together, both organizations are excted to celebrate LGBT progress in Milwaukee. We look forward to continuing to support the LGBT community on all its future issues.  With your support, we can make great strides in Milwaukee and beyond.

A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to Cream City Foundation.
